Last night we had our dress rehearsal for band at the performance location. It's a high school I think, but the concert hall we're playing in is absolutely fantastically amazing. It's so much fun to be a part of this group, sit in this great theatre, and make music. Ahh, I felt so good. I'm so happy to get back into my playing. It's going to be useful too. Coming up is an audition for The Steppenwolf, and they're asking for actors that play musical instruments. Hello!


The other euphonium player, Jeff is so awesome. I love him.

He's also an extremely good player. Hopefully we can contain ourselves during the actual concert since at every rehearsal, including last night, we fuck around and laugh to much.

The best part of the night is when I looked over to the trumpet section and Ben was there and I thought how lucky I am to have him in my life and that we got to experience this together.

Lakeside Pride has been such an awesome experience, it helped me beat the Chicago Winter Blues, and I met so many awesome people. I'm sad that it's ending soon. I should say going on hiatus, because I'm excited about the next season. The immediate next thing is Marching Band, but I can't participate in that because I'll be going back to Ohio Shakespeare Festival!! It's still early, and I probably shouldn't be saying this, because nothing is concrete yet. But it looks like I'll be doing 1 maybe 2 shows for sure. As soon as I know the concrete details, I'll post.

On and exciting side note:
