Hi y'all!!!
I'm writing to you now from Akron, OH. I had my first rehearsal last night and it went well. I know what you're thinking though:
"Shakespeare in OHIO?"
"Isn't that an oxymoron?"
Actually there is some very good Shakespeare and Musical Theatre done in Ohio. As well as straight plays as well. I KNOW...who knew right?
Anyway, I'm hoping to update you weekly and although I haven't been here for an entire week yet, already; I almost got into a gay bar fight and was involved in a gay porn and booze scandal. Oh yeah, just you wait.
In the mean time. I'll have you know that I finally broke down and got a txt messaging plan. I never liked txt messaging, because I always said,
"Listen, if you want to talk to me then just fucken call me. If it's not that important then don't fucken worry about me."
Either way, the more people I meet the more useful it really is. Also, if you're in class or rehearsal or court (BUT NEVER AT A PLAY!!!!) or somewhere you can't really get on the phone, it is easier to just send a T. X. T. as we say in the industry. And people really do respond faster to a txt than a phone call. So that's that.
